- Developed the ‘Core Program’ of the IB DP which entailed teaching Theory of Knowledge, advising CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) experiences, monitoring the Extended Essay, and guiding the development of a Learning Portfolio.
- Planned the ‘Ideas Market’ which was an exhibition of students work from two types of curricula (DP & Ideate). This was a celebration of learning which showcased projects, new learnings, and new discoveries.
- Developed curriculum for the ‘IDEATE’ program (Project Based Curriculum) for the Global Issues Class. The curriculum was focused on Sustainable Development Goals, ethical decision making, inequalities, harmony with nature, media literacy, doughnut economics and art for impact.
- Managed the grade 11 advisors as the Grade Level Facilitator by organizing the advisory curriculum (Wellness, Keeping Safe, Comprehensive Sex Education and Digital Citizenship). Organized the students into committees that developed their own assemblies, wellness retreats, and grade level social events.
- Organized two types of Business Competitions for the IB DP Business Management Class.
- ‘Avenir’ is a business competition where students develop a business plan around a business idea then meet with external experts (Mentors) to critique their business plan and aid their business pitch that they will present to other external experts (Judges) to win prize money and internships.
- ‘The Bite of BCIS’ is a 6 week-long business competition where students develop business plans involving the use of a learning kitchen. They develop a product, organize a production plan, create financial plans (breakeven, budgets, accounts and cashflow forecasts), and create a marketing plan based around sustainability.
- Collaboratively planned the ‘Portfolio Defense Day’ where the Grade 12 students showcase their Learning Portfolios that have been developed over the high school career with a focus on the Impacts of Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Purposeful Doing, and Connected Learning.
- Developed the ‘Circular Garden Club’ which focused on circularity (Composting, planting, growing, and harvesting). This club inspired the Circularity Projects which currently has projects on Aquaponics, Hydroponics, Carbon Capture, Solar Panels and the use of Spent Coffee Grounds for Face Scrub.

- Led the CAS and TOK program to demonstrate the power of the core in the DP program with a focus on students connecting their knowledge throughout the program.
- Developed curriculum using UBD approach for DP Business, Economics and TOK that helped leading up to IB re-authorization.
- Integrated technology as a tool for differentiation leading to a flipped classroom where students were in control of their learning.
- Participated in the coordination of documentation for the IBDP official visit that led to IBDP authorization.
